KP students learning on the Web

WRENTHAM — King Philip Regional High School students this past school year for the first time have been able to take courses not offered in school but over the Internet.

Part of a growing trend of online learning, the nonprofit virtual classroom program being tapped is The VHS Collaborative, formerly Virtual High School Global Consortium, which is based in Maynard that several other area school districts have or plan to offer, including North Attleboro, Norton and Foxboro high schools and Foxboro Regional Charter School.
